Privacy policy
My HOA Budget is a public-facing site for reserve-planning education, browser-local scenario testing, and request intake. The site is static. Durable request records, checkout, payment status, setup emails, and sign-in verification are owned by external providers, not by a local MHB backend.
What we collect
- Bounded page and CTA activity needed to understand which public-site actions lead to solver, request, checkout, and setup steps.
- Contact, role, timeline, and community details you submit through request forms.
- Provider checkout-session data needed to check payment status and send a setup-link email.
Scenario files and calculator exports
Budget, reserve-study, assessment-history, CSV, JSON, text, or text-layer PDF files selected in the solver are read locally in your browser. Candidate values are shown for review and change calculator inputs only after you choose to apply them. MHB does not upload, durably store, or send those file contents to analytics.
Copy and CSV exports may include the reviewed numbers because you explicitly create those artifacts. Share links keep only the calculator controls for assessment, vendor, amenity, capital work, dues growth, and operating-expense growth. They do not include imported budget values, file contents, community or contact data, source text, or baseline balances. Request notes and checkout metadata use applied field names and coarse change bands unless you choose to include exact scenario numbers at handoff.
Analytics
This deployment does not currently load Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics 4. Public-site analytics are not enabled unless the deployment is configured with a GTM container.
Request intake and checkout
When PUBLIC_CFO_API_URL is configured, your browser can send the normalized request to the external
CFO intake service. A durable receipt is shown only after a valid CFO receipt is returned. If CFO is unavailable or
not configured, the page prepares an email or clipboard summary and stores nothing in MHB.
Paid checkout and setup-link email are provider-owned. MHB checks provider status and can truthfully report payment, pending, unavailable, or setup-link states, but it does not grant access, check entitlements, or create a local user session.
Email links
After a successful request or payment-confirmed checkout, a provider may send a magic link so you can continue setup without creating a password. Those links are time-sensitive and should be treated like login credentials. MHB verifies the callback through CFO when configured, otherwise through the direct auth provider, and stores no token locally.
Data sharing
We use service providers only where they are required to run the public site and the handoff path, including the analytics, payment, and auth infrastructure described above. We do not sell personal information.
